Objective of the project :
The improvement of the quality of
teaching in secondary vocational schools in Pirot district, encouragement of the
higher grades students, employed and unemployed in dairy industry and trade to
start their own business or successfully run the existing one and to give good
services and «healthy food» products at the market of the Republic of Serbia,
and all this with the educational help of the programmes of the Economic School
and Food Industry School in Pirot.
Target groups &
justification : Teachers – agents of
the reforming process, students of the higher grades (because they didn’t have
an opportunity to be educated by new methods and new programmes. Until now, the
reform included only primary schools and grammar schools),
A group of
15 unemployed people from the territory of Pirot district. The employed in the
private and social companies as: 8 dairy stores and

trade companies.

Plan of action
& duration of project stages
:

phase is preparatory and this
phase includes – preparation of printed / coppied material and its
multiplication, conversation with educators about terms, contact with schools,

phase implies: seminar
realization and, simulataneously, the realization of “the association of
technologists” (at one arrival of participants), cooperation agreement, Web
creation ( transparency in work), conduction of the series of programmes, all in
order to achieve final aims: educated 210 teachers and 355 students in 4 schools
in Pirot district, Serbia. More ...
Experience with similar projects & management
capacity :
Since 2002 LOGOS has realized 3 projects of the
economic empowerment, marketing, creation of a business plan, public relations
(the projects have been realized through non-governmental sector) with the help
of the assets of small business from the Pirot district. Most of the authors of
these programmes are teachers of Economic and Food Industry school, but we also
have cooperation with other institutions.

Seminar objective: Introduction
participants of the seminar with business plan concept, needs for business
planning, methodology for making business plan, basic elements of business
plan, giving concrete examples from practice in order to enable participants
to make business plans independently.
